Artist Statement

My art is my emotional self expression after dealing with the passing of both my Mother and Father. My work displays grief, loss, and overcoming of those hurdles through depictions of knights, catholic symbolism and gore. I try to visualize the feeling of isolationism through difficult experiences of grief, loss and identity. The colors are expressions of sadness and help me overcome those same exact feelings as I am trying to not bottle said emotions.
